  • The Past, Present and Future of Technology

    Hi!
    At this year's State Bar of Texas Annual Meeting, Juris Fabrilis will be making a presentation on the Past, Present and Future of Technology for Lawyers.  So for those that can't make it to the event, here are a few of the items that we'll be covering.

    1. The past.  In this section, we'll be discussing where technology came from and how it was implemented early on.  We'll discuss Moore's Law, Stand alone word processors and most importantly, we'll be doing a comparison of an Osborne 1 from 1982 and a smartphone - in terms of just how far we've come!  

    2.  The present.  Where we are today in technology, how it is implemented and some cool sections on current trends that'll explain why things are they way they are today.

    3.  The future.  In this section, we're focusing on Apple, Microsoft and Google and how they all appear to be moving in the same direction...  to the cloud!

    Juris Fabrilis has been brought in as a training consultant for the Texas Court Reporters Association during their annual meeting in Fort Worth this year.  We've developed an AWESOME training series on Adobe Acrobat, PDF, OCR and all things related.

    The current count for attendees is well over 300 for the sessions and we couldn't be more excited to provide this great group of people with the technical training that they need to move forward effectively....
